HISTORY OF PEL EXTRACT LIMITED
PEL Extract Limited was formed in 1992 to make wine and fruit drinks from locally available materials notably pawpaw and pineapple. The initial product was Cartablanca, White Wine and Astorcherry. The company also did contract production with Nigerian Distilleries Limited making St. Lauren Grape Drink, then Wells Fruit Drink for Aerlin Product Limited and some notable companies. The company presently produces Ace Bitters for Nigerian Breweries Plc. The company is registered with NAFDAC and SON and also has nationwide distribution network.
